We have already told you how to install Mozilla Firefox in the Ubuntu operating system, now we will share the instructions for installing Firefox Snap.
The latest version of the browser is pleased that it is available not only as a program for the Linux operating system, but also as a Snap package for Ubuntu. Although the developer himself claims that the Snap package was ready back in 2016, but it took them time to bring it to mind and roll it out to users in a ready-made form. Now the package is finally ready and can be used by users.
If you need to return the Snap version of Firefox, you can do it literally in no time. To do this, we need to remove Firefox from the PPA:
sudo apt remove firefox
After that we can install the program from the snap package:
sudo snap install firefox
You can also delete the priority setting file /etc/apt/preferences.d/mozilla-firefox and the PPA repository itself from the system.
