How to run the script for ExpressionEngine auto-installation

ExpressionEngine is a PHP CMS with flexible structure and CodeIgniter support. We tell you how to quickly and easily install it on the server with just one script.

1. Log in to the billing system on the PQ.Hosting website.

2. Go to the “Products/Services” section, select “Virtual Servers”.

3. Find the server you need and click “Go” - this will take you to the control panel.

If you don't have a virtual server yet, this can easily be fixed:

3.1. Go to the PQ.Hosting website.

3.2. Find the “Server Rental” section.

3.3. Decide on the location where the VPS will be located.

3.4. Look at all available tariffs and choose a suitable one.

3.5. Order the selected server.

3.6. Proceed to server setup:
→ Specify domain name (if required).
→ Select the operating system - we recommend using Ubuntu 22.04 or Ubuntu 24.04 to install ExpressionEngine.
→ Define the control panel.
→ Set other configuration parameters.

3.7 Pay the order - and the server is ready to go.

You can then return to step 3.

4. open the Virtual Machines section.

5. Find the “Run script” button.

6. In the window that appears, start typing “ExpressionEngine”

7. Start the installation: click “Run Script” and watch the process in the “Status” section.

8. Wait for the installation to complete. When it's finished, you will receive an email with login, password and a link to log in to the ExpressionEngine administration panel.

9. Just follow the link - and site customization is in your hands.
