Registration and connection of Ngrok account

In previous articles, we have already considered what Ngrok is and how to install it correctly. Now let's consider the issue of registering an account and connecting it. In fact, there is nothing complicated here. It is enough to follow our instructions and you will solve this problem without any problems.

Account registration

So, the first thing we need to do is register a new account. If you do not plan to use the intellectual product for commercial purposes, then you can use the free version. It is quite enough for the first time. The free version generally has everything you need to make the port accessible from the Internet.

Registration process:

1. Open the official website and click the Sign Up button.

2. Enter your name, email address and password.

3. If you have done everything correctly, then you will receive a confirmation email. Open the email and follow the link from it. As soon as you log into your account, the control panel opens, where you can download the client or view commands to configure it.As you can see, everything is simple and nothing complicated.

Connecting the account

Next, we need to connect the newly created account. To do this, you need to specify the authorization key. This key is located at the very bottom of the Setup & Installation page in your profile.Just run the command:

$ ngrok config add-authtoken XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX_XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Everything is ready to use. The same key can always be viewed in the Your Authtoken tab.
