Timeweb is a Russian cloud provider focused on the mass market: from shared hosting to dedicated servers and VPS/VDS. The company places its own racks in Tier-III facilities in Russia, Kazakhstan, and Poland.
Security
DDoS filtering is enabled by default and operates at L3, L4, and L7 levels; the basic two layers are free, L7 domains can be connected separately. Backups are created on a schedule and stored for 7–30 days; the cost depends on the volume and can be enabled in two clicks. Authentication logs are available in the panel, the storage period is not disclosed.
Pricing Policy
The provider positions itself in the budget-to-mid-range segment: shared hosting starts from 180 ₽/month, VPS/VDS — from 169 ₽/month with annual payment and from 477 ₽/month with monthly payment. When paying for a year, they give 3 months free or compensate the remainder from a previous hosting provider. Additional IPv4 addresses and subnets are issued at a fixed price without "surprises". Dedicated servers — from ≈ 5,800 ₽/month and are assembled to order.
Infrastructure
VPS/VDS are deployed on KVM using NVMe drives in RAID arrays; overselling is not mentioned in the specifications. Network parameters include gigabit channels and ports up to 1 Gbit/s with unlimited traffic, and if necessary, an upgrade to 10 Gbit/s is available for an additional fee. Server management is performed through a proprietary panel: you can choose an operating system (including Astra Linux), reboot the instance, create snapshots, and monitor basic statistics. Installation of popular control panels — ISPmanager, FastPanel, or Hestia — is also available, as is uploading your own ISO image.
Datacenters
The provider's infrastructure is distributed across several facilities in different across all regions, they all meet Tier III standards and are equipped with dual power supply with backup diesel generators. Latency within the region remains low, allowing for comfortable work on projects targeting a local audience. Server migration between countries is not automated: to change the location, you need to order a new instance and transfer the data manually. Hot standby is not advertised, but when deploying multiple machines, the provider helps set up a cluster scheme.

Technologies Used
Public descriptions mention a proprietary control panel, as well as the possibility of one-click installation of ISPmanager, FastPanel, and Hestia. For VPS/VDS, KVM virtualization is used; Linux distributions and Windows are supported.
Customer Support
You can contact the support service via tickets, Telegram, chat in the panel, or by phone. Support operates around the clock, with no separate schedule for weekends. More complex tasks are transferred to engineers who work on Moscow time. In a test inquiry regarding BGP session setup, the answer it took about 8 minutes — along with a ready-made configuration example. Russian-speaking operators are available at any time of day.
