eServer is a Russian hosting provider. The company specializes in budget VPS/VDS and dedicated servers with a focus on fixed prices and instant activation. Services are oriented towards typical infrastructure tasks: websites and web applications, services with databases, test environments, and projects with limited budgets.
Security
Backup is not included in the basic set of services and is connected separately. The frequency of snapshot creation and retention periods depend on the chosen tariff, so for important projects it makes sense to agree upon and formalize the recovery procedure in the contract beforehand. Basic DDoS protection operates at the network level in all tariffs, however, the exact activation thresholds are not published: if the permissible traffic volume is exceeded, restrictions may be applied automatically.
Pricing Policy
In terms of positioning, eServer is closer to the budget segment: a starting VPS is available even with monthly payment, and the final price is fixed for the entire contract period. When paying for a year, a permanent discount appears, and the cost of additional IP addresses and subnets is stated in the price list without "surprises". Dedicated servers are presented as a separate line and are oriented towards scenarios where price stability is important, not premium options.
Infrastructure
Server management is performed through a proprietary panel: selection of the operating system, reboot, access to the VNC console, and basic resource monitoring are available. If necessary, you can upload your own ISO image. Network parameters include gigabit channels and ports up to 1 Gbit/s with unlimited traffic, and for an additional fee, an upgrade to 10 Gbit/s is available. VPS is based on KVM virtualization with SSD or NVMe drives in RAID arrays; overselling is not declared in the specifications.
Datacenters
The provider operates on platforms in Russia and Europe, including locations in Moscow, Frankfurt, and Amsterdam. All datacenters comply with Tier III level and are equipped with redundant power supply with diesel generators. Latency within the region remains low: to Moscow about 5–15 ms, to Frankfurt — approximately 8 ms, to Amsterdam — around 18 ms. Server migration between regions is not automated: to change location, you will need to deploy a new instance and transfer data manually. Direct connection to local traffic exchange points helps ensure minimal latency for audiences in Europe.
