Security
The provider states there is basic DDoS filtering at the datacenter border; the details of the limit and filtering duration depend on the location. Backups are created on a schedule and stored for 7 days, but are connected as a separate option. It's better to clarify backup parameters and restore points before ordering and to fix them in the contract to avoid discrepancies between expectations and the actual policy.
Pricing Policy
In terms of positioning, MyHosti is closer to the budget segment. The pricing structure includes both fixed packages and a configurator that allows you to select CPU, RAM, and disk for your task. An annual payment grants a permanent discount, and the cost of additional IPs and subnets is stated in the price list without any "surprises." Dedicated servers are presented separately and are aimed at scenarios where stability is important, not premium options.
Infrastructure
Virtualization is implemented on hardware-based solutions, ensuring proper resource isolation and stable VPS operation under typical loads.
Service descriptions emphasize SSD storage and the absence of overselling. The network is advertised with gigabit ports and limited traffic; exceeding the limit results in speed being throttled to 100 Mbps until the next billing period. Standard management tools are provided: OS selection, console access, and the ability to upload your own ISO image. Assistance with project migration and the issuance of additional IPv4 addresses upon request are also mentioned.
Datacenters
The geography is limited to two countries: Finland and Netherlands. The used data centers meet basic industry requirements for physical security, power supply, and climate control. The reliability level of the sites generally corresponds to Tier II–III. IPv6 is not yet provided.
