Melbicom is a European hosting provider. The company started as a specialized service for gaming projects but by 2020 had entered the broader VPS/VDS and dedicated server market. Today, its coverage spans thirteen locations across three continents, and prices are listed in euros including local VAT.
Security
All data centers housing Melbicom equipment are certified to ISO/IEC 27001:2013. Access to the server halls is controlled via biometrics, and disks with client data are encrypted at the hypervisor level. The service portfolio includes basic DDoS attack protection, network filters, and firewall solutions. Backup and disaster recovery are available as additional services and are configured based on the chosen setup.
Pricing Policy
In terms of positioning, Melbicom is closer to the mid-to-high segment. Pricing is transparent and typically fixed. For large and long-term clients, individual terms and contract models are possible.
Infrastructure
Melbicom's technical foundation is built on enterprise-class server platforms and industrial-grade network equipment. The main focus is on dedicated servers, high-performance VPS, and network services. For VPS, KVM virtualization is used, and a standard set of management utilities is provided: the ability to install an OS from an ISO image, console access, and so on. Assistance with project migration and the provision of additional IPv4 addresses and IPv6 subnets upon request are also mentioned.
